Books on tape
Books on tape have saved my life. I love to hear my children's voices, but every once in a while I need some quiet. Well, not even quiet, just no one talking directly to me. I started throwing books on tape into a canvas bag and keeping it in the back seat. Tate will pick one, I pop in the tape, and he turns pages for Lucy to see. I have a guaranteed 5 minutes of brain rest each time. It's lovely, really.

Ditto! We listened to some on CD on the trip to UT and back. Awesome. Kaisa likes to listen and follow along at bedtime. *sigh* Gotta love technology. :)
Wow...I am impressed if the Ensign is the next book he is going to pick up to read to Lucy!
