Our Teeny Tiny Tree

Miley the Destroyer, who could rival any rampaging hoard of vikings heck-bent on destruction, has forced us to consider other options when choosing our tree this year. We usually put up our nice 7 foot fake tree that looks suspiciously like a 7 foot fake tree. It's always worked out fine for us even though in a particularly scary Lucy year we had to strap it to the wall. This year, however, we face an entirely new set of obstacles as we try outsmarting the newest version of Parker. We decided on a real tree (our first! and it smells great.) that seems much more suited to dwarfs or leprechans or Boyles, than it does to our large breed of people. We placed a great big box on a table and put the tree on top of all that. Kilgore the Fearsome can still reach the very bottom branches, so our most cherished ornaments are at the top, but it seems to be working pretty well and might actually withstand the wrath of our little viking. Bring it on, Kilgore, bring it on!

Merry Christmas!!

As far as the tree goes...Hey, you do what you have to do. That is a GREAT christmas tree. And the small ones need a happy home for the Holidays, too.

I almost spit my warm cinnamon vanilla milk out my nose when I got to the "leprechauns or Boyles" part. :)
