"Cousins are like friends who can't tell you, 'Go away, you're bugging me.'"

Okay, so a couple of these kids aren't technically cousins, but very, very close!

Lucy didn't care that Ella was shy or that she was older. Once she heard that Ella takes ballet, she reached rock-star status.

You can tell these two (Alec and Tate) are related because when they were a year old, both had heads that were adult-sized.

Despite the terror on his face, Tate had tons of fun with Jackie, who is also 6. She's perfectly rough and tumble!

This is Jake's absolute favorite picture of Lucy. Not only does it capture her timeless beauty, but it also conveys her sense of grace and composure.

Kaisa convinced Lucy to go with her on a slide that even I won't go on, called the banana. Lucy screamed her little lungs out the whole way down.

Sophia wasn't so sure about us when we first showed up. Apparently, the size of my children had her convinced we were there to steal her food and probably her toys too. After she found out Miles liked to unroll the t.p. too, she decided we could stay.

Kaisa's not really picking her nose, I hope, but they were having a great time learning to hula, so even if she is, bad manners will be excused this time.

Keaton and Sam were excellent friends with Tate, just as long as none of the adults were looking! They enjoyed each other immensely but got in "hot water" every time we turned around. Boxing, ruining Uncle Christian's sprinkler timer, falling out of trees, dumping magic powder on Aunt Leslie's carpet, you name it, they did it. Tate loved every minute.

Great pics! That commentary on Lucy's beauty followed by the picture seriously made me laugh out loud!

That Alec kid looks like the anchor on the six-o'clock news! They should not put him in a tie!

Little kids that look like adults kinda freak me out.
