Poor, poor Calvin
When Jake and I had only one kid, we had a conversation that went something like this:
Jake- We can't have another kid! We won't be able to love it as much, and it won't get enough attention.
Alison- So, you think your parents loved Leslie the most because she's the oldest?
Jake- Well, ok, we might love the next one the same, but it'll never get as much attention as Tate's gotten.
Fast forward a couple of years to right before Miles was born:
Jake- What if we can't give this one enough attention?
Alison- Seriously? Don't you remember how much we all doted on Lucy?
Fast forward to 3 weeks ago:
Jake- I hope this one gets enough attention.
Alison- (no comment, just gives him the look)
And it looks like Jake was right. Poor poor Calvin is just wasting away in a corner, going unnoticed.

If you ever wonder why Calvin might be scared of Tate beyond comprehension, take a good, long look at the second photo.
The one with big brother Miles is very sweet :)
