Letters to Santa
My kids (ever the procrastinators) came home in a panic today.
"We didn't write letters to Santa!"
Fearing they might be forgotten, they immediately got to work.
Lucy, after assuring the big guy that she'd been great, asked for an American Girl Doll (news to her parents!), some makeup, and an Ugly Doll (also the first I'd heard of this).
Tate skipped any discussion about his behavior this year (I guess he was hoping Santa had forgotten) and launched right into his list. A nerf gun (uh oh), a game for his DS (uh-oh again), and an Ugly Doll (I was in big trouble by this point).
Next year we're doing lists on Thanksgiving.
